About Shells...

Shells Legoullon has spent the past thirty years navigating a diverse career path. From partnering with her husband in their insurance business to building a successful indoor trampoline park, she simultaneously raised four boys and somehow managed to pursue her love of writing. In 2023, her short story, The Backwoods, was selected for Thrill Ride, The Magazine (Unlikely Partners) and was later nominated and featured for inclusion in The Best Mystery Stories of the Year, 2024, and Thrill Ride: Best of 2023.Her latest short story, Impact, will be released in March 2025 in the Thrill Ride (Secrets) issue.

Shells is a former San Francisco North/East Bay Regional Advisor with SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) and a current member of International Thriller Writers, Sisters in Crime, and the Pacific Northwest Writers Association. She and her husband live on a misty lake in the Pacific Northwest with two crazy dogs.
